Hi! I'm new to the forum but a long-time gardener. I have a nematode
problem in one of my vegetable beds. Just pulled out tomatoes (I'm in South
Africa) and found roots lumpy and distorted. I have been practising
rotation but brought in soil which may have been contaminated. I read
somewhere that Jayes fluid will sterilize the soil. Can anyone suggest a
cure ?

Chris, there is a new product in the U.S. called ClandoSan which controls
nematodes; I think it's a bacterial product of some kind. It is sold by
Ringer Corporation, 9959 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie, Minnnesota 55344,
or call 1-800-654-1047 for a free catalog.
I believe Clando-San is a marine industry byproduct, and it is very bulky
and therefore expensive to ship….but then all that watercress has gone to
my head….what do I know?
