Did you get the fax about the Stihl event in NYC? There's something irresistible in surrealistic sort of way about chain saws and leaf blowers in the Russian Tea Room. Since I can't be there I'm counting on you for a full report. Shep is planning to show up too.

(by the bye, i exacted such a HORRENDOUS price for the e-rights that ws must feel he's got to get as much use out of it as soon as possible… i won't even bother to reply to the implied slur on writers. i'll leave it to you.)
