Howdy everyone!
I just discovered this forum and can see by the sections available that
it's one that I will be visiting frequently. I am primarily interested in
organic gardening and have been using that means of gardening for about 5
years. My main gardening interests are in the areas of lawns, trees (fruit
and shade), and lots and lots of flowers. As for vegetable
gardening…well, I just leave that to the neighbors (they are also organic
gardeners) who grow more veggies than they can use, and I am the benefactor
of their overabundance.
I was a sometime visitor to the Goodearth forum, but was not satisfied with
the sections available. Hence, I was thrilled to see this forum crop up.
(pun intended)

Hi John…welcome to GARDENING. Wouldn't trade where I live now, gardening
on 1/3 acre in So. California. Real estate is out of sight $$$$$$$$$$ but
I was used to gardening (still in So. CA) on 2 acres. That's long before
the encroachment of the developers. Nice neighbors you have to be so
generous with their extras.
Hi John, Glad you've discovered us!
Thanks for the welcome Alison.
I forgot to mention in my introduction that in spite of my interest in just
a few areas of gardening, I enjoy discussing ALL areas of gardening. I
wouldn't be surprised if this forum doesn't grow into as popular a forum as
COOKS forum, where I spend a great deal of time. Gardeners and cooks tend
to be some pretty laid back folks.

John.
Nice to see you in a different forum,
Alan
Hi Alan! Just goes to show that you never know who you're going to run into
and where.
You mean it stops raining long enough for you guys to garden.<gg>
