If this isn't the right topic for the following post, I apologize. I'm new to CIS… I've got a strange problem with IconEdit. It won't let me draw. Whatever I try to do, the program won't register the change. I know, there are other icon editing programs out there, and I could import IFF files into IconEdit. I'd just like to know why the program won't work. – via Whap!

Dan, Won't let you draw? I'd say that's strange, all right. I think we need more information here, though. How are you trying to use the program? Is it simply not saving the icon, or are you actually unable to draw in the main icon window? How do you have the program set up? What are you doing when you actually try to draw into the main window? I've used IconEdit quite a bit, and never had any real trouble with it. (Not that it's perfect. Drawing is sslloooowwww, and I'd like to see better control of the color swapping capabilities.) Anyway, a more complete description of what you're trying to do would be of immense help in diagnosing your problem. –dds (dales@teksce.SCE.TEK.COM) Whappeta-whappeta-Whap!

Dan, I think we're going to need a bit more information before we can answer. Question one (1) is: What version of AmigaDOS are you running? Question two (2) What do you mean by "won't register a the change"?
