I'm from Canada and staying in the Delray area of Florida for another six days. Several months ago there was a discussion in the Goodearth Forum describing a product known as walls of water. It involves plastic containers of water used to store heat from the sun and warm the surrounding earth overnight enabling yhou to put out seedlings much earlier in the season. Does anyone know of a source for this product in the Delray Florida area? In the alternative does anyone know of an outfit handing same in the immediate vicinity of Highway I 75 in Georgia, Tennesee, Kentucky or Ohio. That will be my route home to the Land of Cold, Snow and thank Heaven socialized medecine. Henry

Hello Steve, The Wall o' Water is a neat device that allows gardeners in cold areas to plant out seedlings early. It is a teepee of plastic that has channels in the walls that are to be filled with water. You place the teepees around seedlings and fill the channels with water. The water absorbs heat during the day and as the temperatures drop at night, the stored heat is slowly released, keeping the seedlings and soil warm. Haven't used them myself, but its an interesting idea! Alison
