CBM does not decide to come out for or rather with a 386-BB anytime soon.

Tim…
The number is 216-352-8471.
I'm running a lot of stuff on ATOP in CROSSINGS right now–installation,
benchmarks, etc.

Marion,
Thanks for the number!
Tim, I installed one of those VGA multifunction cards in a 3000T for
someone. It's got two serial ports, one parallel, IDE hard disk, floppy,
and a buss mouse (rodent included.) BTW, JDR Microdevices also carries that
card. It's called the MCT-VGAEIO by 'Modular Circuit Technology'. If you've
got the Feb issue of Computer Shopper, look on page 862.
If you don't put anything in the video slot, both the AT bridge and that
card should fit in a regular 3000.
Jim,
Thanks for the responce, sounds promissing, I also have found out
that it's possible to add a 3rd AT slot to the A-3000 via a Y-Card/hack I
got the info. from a guy who has done this on use-net. If you or anyone on
here is interested in that message, i'll post it here. He talked to Dave H.
at CBM, who told him that it sould work just fine. he has done this hack
only he used an xt slot, and he seems very pleased with it.
Tim
Tim,
I saw your message on the 3rd slot (literal!) hack. Filed it for
future reference, thanks. I'm still running my kludge-o-matic 1000.
Jim
Tim:
Please post the info on the 3rd AT slot for the A3000. It will be most
appreciated.
opps… just looked ahead and see you've already posted it! Thanks.

Tim,
I would like to see the message on the Y-Card. Did you notice that
Jameco has a slot extender?

Gayle,
If you're talking about the PC Slot Extension kit, which provides upto 4
additional PC slots, the part number is PCL755C, price $99.95. This is
from their new '92 catalog. Hope this helps.
Sunny,
Thanks! I guess I didn't go down far enough in my stack, and I could
not find the information in my saved messages.
