Boy, do you ALL look good!!! <sly grin> I'm here, too, and it's very wet
around here. Not flooding, thankfully, but – well, I HAD to go to the Post
Office and I tho't I'd be the only dingbat to come out in the rain.
Discovered this town is MADE of dingbats – lots of us there.
We still can be thankful for the rain – in our area, at least, because
we have had only nuisance flooding. We'll see about later in the day.
Wonder if there are any other Goodearth refugees around?? May put out a
message about that <another sly grin>
Hi, Ruth! The demise of our late great forum hit me this week, along with a
cold. The rain is fabulous, although a bit of an excess. Plants look as
though they're just about to spring out of the earth, the colors so vibrant
against the gray sky. I have to throw Snowflake out the door — she is not
eager to get wet, unlike Howard's mud dogs. Maybe she is a cat in
disguise…. Hope you're staying dry and snug at home. The freeways are

Ooooooooo, GRRRREEEAAATTTT to hear from you. I was wondering how you were
living with the rain. Sorry 'bout Snowflake, but then, that's life. (Which,
when one considers that last remark, is probably one of the dumbest. It
says NOTHING !I missed Goodearth, too, when I wanted to talk quickly and
easily with my friends who were in the path of the BIG storm. I had to send
e-mail to Mike Jones, Ellis Farny, etc. That's why I tho't I try to get our
Sunday night gang to come to GARDEN, at least for the Garden Gate area.
Trust your cold is on its way out. Again, good to hear from you.
Ruth, I'm feeling better, thanks, and getting caught up on paperwork since
it's too wet to garden. I watched part one of Yamato-san's journey through
Good Earth America, and even recognized one of the Socal people who met him
for dinner at the Good Earth restaurant (Susan S., who has been on a trip
and will be horrified to learn of the demise of our forum, and who visited
me several months ago). There was a picture of Dave Peyton with his
dulcimer (I think that's what it was). He doesn't look at all like Charlie
Manson, so he lied about that! <g> Anyway, on with the new….
So glad you are better. Now STAY that way! No, Dave really doesn't look
like Charlie Manson. He looks like, well, uh, he looks like Dave. <G> We
met him and Susie about 3 years ago when we travelled through his part of
the country. Had a great time. Will stay in touch. I'm off to CO with the
"refugees". We're meeting in ROOTS, rm. 18.
Shirley, good to see you! I've been mourning the last few days — it
finally hit me hard that Good Earth was gone. I couldn't even watch
Yamato-san's video, I was so down about the sudden demise of our meeting
place. Anyway, I'm going to watch it today or tomorrow. I look forward to
