Does anyone know if the new clumping kitty liters are compost-able? I compost HOT with mostly horse manure(5horses 3 cats)

Carol, cat manure is not wise to add to a compost pile, even a hot one. I suspect that if you get the pile to 150 degrees, it is okay, but cat poop does have some pathogens that can harm humans if not killed; I would not use it in my piles. Dog manure is okay, but I would rather have a cat.

Don't know about the new kitty litters, but regardless of how hot your pile is, I would not use cat (or dog) manure in it. I've heard too many horror stories of disease and parasites being transmitted through cat and dog feces.
