Is Amiga Transactor out yet? Haven't seen an issue in my mailbox although they mentioned a January publishing date.

Winston, it's still January, right? 🙂 Actually, we had a lot of trouble getting the subscriber database up and running (in dBase III on a CBM AT clone) but finally got finished towards the end of last week. The subscription copies went in the mail on Friday, so with a lot of luck you'll be getting yours next week, and with ordinary luck early the week foll ;;S_AMIG: – Job 28: Leave me Email on it….calling it a night. owing. Sorry about the unforeseen delay – the magazines were actually printed on the 12th, and I gather that it's been showing up in stores already, since the newsstand distribution is handled separately. Now that we have the database problems sorted out, future issues should reach subscribers a few days before the magazine hits the stores. Thanks for bearing with us. Nick

Nick, I've heard a lot about Transactor, both here and on a local bbs. I was very happy to hear of an Amiga version of this magazine, but I can't find it anywhere in my area (Reading, PA). If no one in this area carries it, would it be possible to get the address and price of a subscription? I'm trying to subscribe to all the Amiga-specific magazines I can find, well, the good ones, anyway. I've heard good things about Transactor, so I'm very interested in seeing one. Mike

Mike, the subscription price of Transactor for the Amiga is $15.00/yr US or $19.00/yr Cdn., which gets you 6 issues. To subscribe, either send me E-mail with your name, address, Visa/Mastercard # and expiry, or call (416)764-5273 9-5 EST Mon, Wed or Fri. Meanwhile, there's some possibility you'll see the first (and so far only) issue in your local bookstore or computer store, but newsstand distribution has not yet reached saturation level… 🙂 … so you might not be able to find it locally. Nick
