As many of you, I recently upgraded to Kickstart/Workbench 2.04. As a result, a number of applications -not necessarily the old ones- prove to be a desastrous experience…and a source of constant irritation! To solve the problem, I somehow managed to load an image of Kick 1.3 using Dave Haynie's excellent SetCPU 1.6. utility, into fastram (KICKROM option). So far, so good. However, I coudn't manage to have my hard drives recognized by the hacked configuration (i.e. under the old OS 1.3). Does anyone know how to do it. MOUNT and BINDDRIVERS commands do not operate. Thanks Alexis

What are the applications that you are running into a problem with? There is always more than one way to solve the problem

John, The applications causing problems (the ones I desperately try to keep) are: Magellan (Emerald Ingtelligence) Design 3D (ex-Aegis) Wordperfect Turbo SiverProject Master (Gantt system) Any comments? Thanks ALexis

Imagine (sucessor to TS) works pretty well under 2.04. You should contact the Project Master people and let them know of your interest. During our compatibility phase we found the bug in their program and let them know about it; I think they were going to wait and see the interest level before doing anything about it. The current WP release works pretty well under 2.04 also. andy

You're welcome. There's no reason to not switch to 2.0 these days.

Well, it looks like the only two that haven't been answered are Magellan and Design 3D. I haven't dealt with either – has anyone else here seen them under 2.0? You might try hitting OXXI on Design 3d. They picked up most of the other Aegis products.
