#Starboard2 Group Buy!!!

Yes, Jez. As I was saying…starting with a true Zorro product will allow
you to migrate to A2000 products (even on your A1000) much more easily
than considering slap-on-the-side problems (excuse me, I meant products).
Hey post the specifics of the deal, I'll make a counter offer providing CIS
users with the opportunity to invest in quality products that will be able
to move with you into newer technology.
Okay Perry.. sounds good. Care to pick a nice priced ASDG card for us?
I have an A2000 here… will your cards plug into that straight away, or
will you have to design them for the new Form factor?
Is it not feasible for cards to be designed into the smallest common
denominator, such that they can fit both the Zorro (A1000) and A2000's
form factors at the same time??

Jez,
What is the (measured) height from the top of the Zorro connectors in the
A2000 to the top of the available space (ie. board height max)? I think you
might find that the lowest common denominator would be a board that is
smaller than the A1000 Zorro (Old Zorro?) board. Then there would be the
problem of external connectors, which by rights should be mounted on a
plate which is accessable at the slots provided at the back of the A2000.
Regards, Larry.
