#IFF Animation Programs
5 messages in this thread
Does anyone out their know about the new IFF picture animation
programs such as TV*SHOW, Animation Effects, Deluxe Productions and The
Director? How fast can they do straight cuts? How good are the
transitions? Do any of these employ anti-aliasing schemes to cut down on
the dreaded jaggies? Are any of these good enough for professional
(industrial) use? I haven't been able to find any these locally so I'd
greatly appreciate any help. I'm trying to use Ami more to cut down on
Cubicomps time.
You might want to look at Aegis VideoTitler and it's slide show program.
Titler's edgeing effects can be used for anti-alising (on text).

John, I'm not aware of any that will do anitaliasing. The question of how
fast they do cuts is dependant on what you are used to, what you want to
do, and how you do it. The best way for you to get a feel for these
programs is to try them yourself.
