Are you sure you don't have the DIS jumper on the Shuffle Board closed?
This disables all drives except DF0:.

Yes I have verified that, I called your tech support line and was advised
to check this. Believe it is a problem with the 1010 pass through. I am
trying to determine how to correct this. Looks like only +12V is missing
however simply connecting pin 23 output to +12V hangs AMIGA. Any more
suggestions…
I'm planning on buying the ICD Prima Hard Drive. I have two question it
said I need a Switching power supply. What is that? How can I tell I have
one? How much ram does it use up?

The power supplies Commodore has been shipping for the past few years are
switching ones. Basically, if your power supply feels like it is full of
lead, it is the older linear one. If it feels like an empty plastic box,
it is a newer switching one.
