Ted,
I sent you by CI$Mail a TAA dump of my buggy server. To recap, the problems
it has are:
1) Files that have been read and deleted are not removed from the
recipient's folder on the mail server. Out current solution is to delete
them manually every day with DiskTop. Not a good solution.
2) NameServer occasionally screws up and certain names will be subbed in
the address list.
3) It is often difficult to connect to the MailCenter. QM will try to
connect, tell me it couldn't, I look in MailCenters and the list is emprty.
I cancel, try again, and the MailCenters are there, and I might (or might
not) then be able to connect. (This may be due to the somewhat flaky nature
of our Ethernet network)
Please take a look and see if there's anything that can be done. This is
turning into a real headache.
