Duff – If the ADS library for SUN Sparcstation doesn't work with the
MetaWare Compiler, what about the SUN C 1.1 ANSI C Compiler? Are the
libraries of the latter compatible to the ads library?
And if this isn't so, is there any ANSI Compiler for AutoCAD on SUN
Sparcstation? We don't like to go back in time with our whole source code
by rewriting it to Kernighan & Ritchie.
What will be in the future? Will we still have to use the old-fashioned cc
also for ACAD 12, 13, 14, 15 ….. on SUN?

Siegemund – We're edging toward use of the Sun's ANSI C compiler ourselves,
but even if we don't end up using it for Release 12, we should be able to
supply an alternate version of the ads.a library that uses it. I'll spread
the word in-house that this is needed.
