Could anyone recommend a good after market manual that I could buy that would help my in learning ACAD. I work for a village near Chicago, and we are using Version 10. I was working with Anvil 1000 for four years privious to starting work here. I have seen several manuals on the shelves, but I would appreaciate some first-hand input from anyone out there.

Tom, I don't recall the exact name, but I saw a comprehensive (thick) manual on R10 and R11 AutoCAD in the B. Dalton's Bookstore yesterday. I recommend it only because my Orlando Airport drawing is on the cover! <g> Brian.

Tom – the best-selling AutoCAD book is "Inside AutoCAD" from New Riders Publishing. Other popular tutorial-style books are "Using AutoCAD" from Que Publishing and "Mastering AutoCAD" from Sybex. You should be able to find all of them in any decent bookstore with a computer section. Most current books cover Releases 10 and 11. Dave
