Hi,
I am looking for an emulator both softwear of hardwear that will let
me run my softwear (Amiga) on my IBM. Is there anything out there? Thanks

Sorry – an Amiga emulator for the IBM does not exist. There are IBM
emulators for the Amiga – the Bridgeboard, ATOnce, and other hardware, and
IBem for a software solution. But the IBM is not as talented as the AMiga
and just cannot emulate one.

There is NO Amiga emulator for the IBM or any of it's compatibles at this
time. It would be VERY hard for any IBM from a 486-33 with XGA on down to
be able to emulate an Amiga due to the Amiga's custom chip-set. Im not
saying it's impossible form someone out there to make one, but the cost of
such a board would not justify it. You could not build a hardware/software
Amiga eumlator combo for less then $500, and its just cheaper to get an
A500.

Sorry…IBM's don't have the capability to emulate an Amiga.

There's been a rumor of an Amiga emulator for the IBM, but from all
reports, it's just a practical joke. What the program does is 1) put up an
"Insert Workbench" screen and 2) spin the disk. Aside from that it doesn't
do anything.
