I can't believe nobody's responded to your message of Feb. 26. No you can't drill holes in objects in Release 1, at least not very easily. Specifically, if the face structure of the original mesh would allow you to delete the specific faces that would show through the tube, then you can eliminate those specific faces and you'll be able to see through your object. This is kind of a dirty way of doing it, and the shape of your tube may not align with the face structure of your object. With some lengthy monkeying around, you might be able to make it work though. Judging from the size of the hints being dropped around here lately, or I should say, gossip is, you'll be able to do it as of the 9th with Release 2. Roger D.

I didnt reply because I was waiting for the standard "Don't ask me when, but you will be happy soon" response from the "Group". -MM

Me too. One has to be careful about what one says when it comes to talking about new releases. Don't want to piss off the powers_that_be!

In addition my message to Mike Morrison, the group did ask others to kind of pick up the slack around here til after NCGA. Guess I'm just as antsy as everyone else is. That's one feature I could really use, if some software might come out with it <g>. Roger D.

Mike, Well I gave it 36 hours. I figured everybody missed it. By the way you are the Mike Morrison from Software Sorcery, aren't you? I took a look at that logo.flc. Nice work. I really like the blade and handle of the sword. Roger D.
