I bought mine up here in Canada and it came with a warranty card and a
nice CD32 box complete with proper fitting styrofoam inserts. My
warranty card was for Commodore Canada so Commodore U.S.A. might be
doing something different. From what I can tell from some magazine
shots, the packaging for the CD32's is the same. The European box
looks like my box. I doubt that the factory would ship 2 different
boxes. Unless they ran out of styrofoam inserts, I'd think the
styrofoam inserts would be the same.
Thanks for your reply. Several other people have replied that they
didn't receive warranty cards either and had keyboard styrofoam, so
who knows what's going on. The box was multi-language so I assume
that there is one box for all countries.
My CD32 kept freezing up, it even came up with a workbench screen once, so
I sent it back for replacement today.
