CanDo (latest version – not sure what the number is, but he just got
it a few weeks ago).

I'm having real problems figuring out the new distribution
policies of CanDo applications. They say the cando.library
is no longer distributable freely and that it can be licensed.
All I want to do is release some freeware utilities. Do you
know anything about the distribution rights for Cando files?

Basically yes you do need to obtain a licence in order to distribute CanDo
software; however, in the case of public domain or freeware this licence is
