Yes…. BAD does have a graphic display. It also tells you the percentage it
has covered – also the expected time of the operation.
While most of my Amiga programs have speeded the event of my heart failure, the
BAD thing has performed like a lady! (Don't get the wrong idea here, Trent).
Don't think it cost an arm and a leg to purchase. If you can borrow the
program, give it a try.

(Ayuh, I'm heah, too!) If Hilary refers to Blitz-A-Disk when he
says BAD ('twould make sense), a disk optomizer…. I believe the
maker of this particular tool left us high and dry about a year or
two ago. I have a copy and find it won't work with my harddrive on
the A1200 at all (something to do with IDE, as it doesn't notice the
HD at all), and chokes on WB 2.04 often enough so I heaved it into
the brush. There is ReOrg in one of the libraries here (AUser or
ATech, I forget) that will work on the A1200 to tighten allocation up
nicely.

Thanks, but I'm using Ami-Back Tools to optimize my Scsi drives (did not
like the performance of IDE) and am looking for a program (commercial or
otherwise) that has as one of it's features the ability to search out bad
blocks and lock them out. This also with a graphic display showing the
operation by block and indicating which are bad and locked out.
