Last I heard, Musicraft, V.8 requires Ks/WB version 28 to run reliably. Its only V.99 that should run under 1.1 (don't know about 1.0, but then no one should still be running 1.0). Randy Weiner <<cbm>>

Interesting… We tend to use .8 more than .99 since you don't have to shuffle files around (and our .8 disk has LOTS of files) to get at them and we have always used 1.1. We have noticed crash-em-up bugs from time to time, but never attributed them to the dos version. –>Steve Bennett

I have run the .8 version with V1.1, I only mentioned using V28 because that is the version in use at the time 0.8Musicraft was first "released" for alpha-beta testing. 0.99 will require at least V1.1 to run (but this is academic for most). I also have a v.99 Musicraft and can't get it to load Miami Vice, or A view to a kill. I get message: File not found. This is true of all scores with an embedded space. But, if I rename the score to remove the space, it still won't find it. Yet, it does appear to try because the disk grinds for a minute or so, much like it is reading a large file. No one here can give me any clues — maybe people using it more frequently, or people experiencing this problem can help. Randy WEiner <<cbm>>

Ver .8 runs fine under KS/WB 1.1 (as does ver .99). However, 0.8 looks to df1: for the scores and can't be changed.

Thats okay with us — I can at least specify any path with .8, while I can't with .99. I certainly hope they allow for other path names in the release version. –>Steve Bennett
