Thanks Ralph! I just made the modification on my GenLock and now the image on
my monitor is "Rock-Steady". Now I can turn off my VCR when just want to use
my computer for non-GenLocking functions. Just a few corrections though on your
details. First U11 is a 16 pin IC, so I don't suggest anyone to look for pin 18
of U11. Look for R55 (not U55) resistor near pin 15 or 16 of U11. One more
point is that a needle nosed pliers would come in VERY useful to untwist those
little metal tabs that "twist-lock" the RF shielding. Good luck to all!

Roy, Glad you were able to find it with not too many problems, I was so happy
that there was a fix I was commenting from memory and apparently got some of
the pins and numbers confused, It is certainly R55 though, and it is a 4.7K
resistor. (got that right at least) -Ralph
It was easy to figure out what you meant! Its amazing what a difference a
little 4.7 K resistor makes. It's such a pleasure to watch my monitor not
"shake and quake" whenever the disk drive is accessed! Thanks again! I
