This is message number three and counting!!!! You people just do not give a damn do you???? I have a cancelled check, with your company's signature affixed to it, and my lawyer tells me I have a hell of a case for your failure to perform as in the implied contract sgned by me provided by your outfit. You set the dates for delivery, failed to meet the date, and on top of that broke the law by not notifying your "paid" clients of the delay's within 30 days…….you must think your company is immune from the law ??????….well enough until another 30 day's pass, and you still havn't produced the product, but I will be leaving a message "everday" on line until you either answer me or deliver the vaporware!

John…I too have a cancelled check and have been waiting since last fall for exellence. However, I did receive a notice from MSS notifying me of the dey as well as a notice of all the additional features to be included in the package (like laser printer support). I have spoken with MSS several times on the phone and they have said (several times) that the product will ship "in a couple of weeks". My last conversation with them was yesterday, 4/6/88 and I was told Excellence would ship Friday. Well, I'll believe it when I see it…but in the meantime, I do own Scribble!, Analyze!, and Organize! and I know what kind of product MSS is capable of producing AND supporting, so I'll wait paitiently. MSS has not gone to the magazines to advertise and solicit advance orders prior to release (like so many other companies have done in the past…ala, vaporware) they simply offered their registered customer base first crack at a new product. Maybe that was a mistake…maybe not. I'll wait till I get the product to judge. In any case, I won't be bothering my lawyer yet. MG

MSS gave a demonstration of Excellence at the FAUG meeting on 4/5. The president of MSS (Esther something or other) said that the problem they are having now is getting the packaging and documentation from the printers. So it looks like it will be RRSN. They do have a full page ad on the back cover of the latest Robo City News.

I wouldn't have asked my lawyer eith, he just offered the advice when he heard my story (free advice from a lawyer, Ill take anyday !!) but MSS is beginning to be a real pain in the neck, and Scribble! was NOT that great anyway's, I think they knew a good thing in a market when they saw it, and took advantage of it. But all aside, I've needed that program for 3 months, and I have yet to get a straight, honest answer from MSS yet !! maybe friday, maybe next week, who is going to know ??? but unlike them, I do respond to people, and promptly.

I may be wrong…but I believe that MSS lost their CIS account (their free 76703,447 account) due to lack of interest in their TeleComm Forum. I do recall seeing a message from them earlier to that effect. My memory also says (and it could be faulty) that you should now contact them via phone in Florida or thru their own BBS (no idea what the phone # is). They used to have an 800 voice number…it may still be active you can check with 800 information (1-800-555-112) to see if they still have it. Don

Thanks for the info on MSS, if they lost thier account, it had to be their own fault. I wonder what posesses a company to not give a flip about their customer's who have already paid for a product. If I did it in my business I could be sued for multi-millions. Oh Well, as the story goes the "whims of the fool" (me). Good to hear from ya again, it's been awhile since you helped me get started on CIS, hope all is well.

John: I don't believe that MSS is one line all that frequently anymore. I do remember seeing a message about 5 months ago where they stated that they would not be monitoring the forum regularly. I am sorry to hear that your are having problems with them as I personnally have been very pleased with their performance as a software house. Hope all gets straightened out soon. 73, bill
