Greetings to All from Muscatine, Iowa I have a friend who is trying to use his Amiga 2000 with a Citizen 240-GSX but hasn't been able to find the right printer driver. He thinks he needs the Epson 2550 driver. He gets OK output from PageStream 2.0, but can't print directly from ProWrite 3.3 because he has no Preferences driver for that printer Help!! Thanks in Advance !

You can use the EpsonQ driver provided with Workbench to drive that printer. You also might want to check out some of the drivers in the libraries here on Compuserve which access the full 360X360 potential of that printer. Randy Brooks New Horizons Software, Inc.

Thanks for the info Randy. I'll give it a try. Are there any special parameters that I need to set in ProWrite?

If you are printing in the Normal or High Quality mode you would want to turn "Aspect Adjusted" off in Page Setup and choose a print density of 180×180. If you are printing in Draft or NLQ you need to turn "Aspect Adjusted" on. Randy Brooks New Horizons Software, Inc.

You mentioned "other drivers that would access the full 360 X 360 potential". Could you point me in the right direction ?

Check out the contents of Library 10 here in AmigaUser for third party drivers for a specific printer. When downloading printer drivers check the age of the driver with newer drivers generally being preferable. Randy Brooks New Horizons Software, Inc.
