While I have you here… at IS your tech support number? I have an ancient
copy of ComicSetter I would like to upgrade if at all possible…

What kind of printer did you use it with? I used to use an old epson compat
with little trouble… however when I'm using an HP LaserJet it will only only
my pages to be about 2 X 2 inches, and won't accept anything bigger (IE: via
the CUSTOM option, it snaps back "matchbook mode!" <g>)
I never printed anything – I ran it under WB 1.3, and simply made onscreen
comics with it.

In other words, just like myself, the purchase of ComicSetter was complete
waste of money, other than pure "Takes more brains than Lemmings" video game!
I did eventually try to print, when an artist friend of mine drew up a few
characters…. that's when the embarassment began!
Pretty much. That's the way it goes. I bought Word(im)Perfect, too.

Hey, a few years ago when I was fooling around with it I printed
Comicsetter stuff out on a color thermal printer, without too much
trouble. Of course, I had to get an update from Gold Disk! :}
Wouldn't you know it… they haven't left me the number to get info for my
upgrade…. I may have to embarass them with a public post in the windows
vendor forum! ;^]
Geez, and I just called Gold Disk. They still have an 800 number for
customer support in Missaugua, Ontario (I think that's it).
My instruction book as a number for Missaugua, but it is a LD number and is no
longer in service…. I don't suppose you have that number with you do you?
