I'm trying to locate a place where I can purchase now AmigaDOS 2.0 +. Also can
I use AmigaDOS 3.0 in an Amiga A500?
No KickStart ROM for AmigaDOS 3.x available for machines other than
A1200/4000. (And hopefully that is: YET).

What makes you so sure that the KickStart 3.x Roms are only for
1200/4000?
They offer KickStart-switchers over here where one could use the new Roms
wich are bigger sizted. I don't know exactly how everything is exactly
with the 3.x Roms, but you hear so many different oppinions.

The architectural differences between the A1200/4000 are such as to
preclude a single KS ROM from working in other machines. Indeed, the same
situation exists for the A3000. An A3000 KS ROM will not work in an
A2000/A2500 machine. As far as I know though an A2000 KS will work in any
of the older machines (all the way back to the A1000).

If you can find a source for AmigaDOS 2.x, please let us know. One of our
products (TypeSmith 2.0) requires AmigaDOS 2.x or higher, and we are losing
sales because customers can't upgrade from 1.3. One lady called 11 dealers
looking for it. If anybody knows who has it in stock, please post a name and
phone number so we can give it to our customers.
I sure hope they resolve this nightmare before PageStream 3.0 ships. ;-(

They seem to have everything that can be put inside an Amiga in stock (if
they don't they probably know where to get it.) The number I gave above
