Hi All,
Guess what – I finally got my hands on a Mercury accelerator (68040) for
my A3000 and the manual tells me I need 2.04 ROMS. I called all over the
place and nobody has any. 2 questions.
1. To I HAVE to have the new ROMs to run this thing?
2. If I do, where can I get the silly things?

Yep, you have to have them. Once, you find them you'll be happy. It's a great
board. I just wish those guys didn't fold. I don't remember where I got mine –
it was over a year ago. Actually, I'd like to put them my other 3000. So if you
do find them, please let me know too.

I just got off the phone with my dealer (Computer Room, Englewood, CO,
303-799-9733) and he's got the 2.0 enhancer kit in stock (limited quantity
but he's got more on order).

I called your dealer but they only have the ROMs for the 2000 – the 3000
ROMS are different and he doesn't have any. Unfortunately, I can find
lots of 2000 ROMs but the 3000 ROMs seem to have dissapeared off the face
of the earth.

Ah, sorry about that, it didn't register that you needed it for a 3000.
