#GDS Things

Is there anyone else out there beyond Robert Ritger who can tell me
more about the CAD program known as "GDS" that makes "GDS things"
files?
John:
You're in the wrong forum. Talk to Brad Holtz 72377,2060 in the LEAP forum.
He can help you with GDS

Hi Evan,
Long time no see ! How are things thesse days ?
Larry Hewitt
Things are just as scatter-brained as before <g> Are you keeping busy
these days?
yeah, I am keeping busy aat the moment, but will slow down for me
soon. I have been pretty busy these past few months though. Say hi to
John for me.

What, I'm not good enough to answer your GDS questions? Just for that I quoted
you.<g> My deadline has been met and I'm home relaxing for a day. I can
finally upload some "things files' to you as you requested. I can also answer
any questions you might have believe it or not.

Are you talking about the graphics image viewer called GDS? I think you'd be
interested in that beause it's such a great utility for making catalog page
gifs.
You mentioned on the phone last time we talked that it had been a major chore
for you to create an image of each of the meshes on the 3D ROM.
BTW, when's interchange plus for windows going to be released? DO you have a
feature list yet?
On 3D ROM II, how is it looking? Do you have many of the mesh files yet? I
should have my 2 or three 3DS files off to you by March 1.
Thanks,
Jim
Nope, not the PD image viewer. It's a 3D package. At one point, I
think it was sold by McDonnell-Douglas. It has a file format called
"things."
No firm date for ICP for Windows. We're hard at work on it now. Lots
of wasted time due to compiler bugs, unfortunately.
The second edition of the 3D-ROM looks like it'll be a winner. Lots of
people have promised very interesting models.
