If you want to read a text file describing VMCO, go into the Mac Sig (GO MACUS) and read the file in DL8 entitled VMCO.TXT. There's also an article in the January COMPUTE! and December MacUser about VMCO. Gregg Williams has been on, so he tell you what it's like. Basically, VMCO's an audio/visual conferencing program for CIS. I wrote the Mac version and am currently porting it over to the Amiga (actually, writing it over).

Ah, the light dawns. I believe Cap'n Crunch was talking about this over on BIX. Question is, do I want a VMCO ICON of me before or after I shaved my beard off? ..bfw..

Well, VMCO animates your face as you talk. You could always have one face with the beard, the other without. That'll freak 'em out. If you haven't heard, there's a bulletin over in MAUG to the effect that Apple's Official New Product Announcement will be held in New York Thursday, January 16th at 11:30 am EST, 8:30 PST. Besides the fact that it won't be happening at the Stockholder's Meeting as in Jobs days, the other new wrinkle is the John Sculley will be making the announcement on VMCO with his own face file, etc. If you look anything like him, go into DL8 on MAUG and pick it up, diddle it till it looks like you.
