Using a patch (on a Fish disk) to the PCutils that came on your Extras disk,
you can format a 3.5" disk in MSDOS 360k format, which the laptop would
recognize. Then you could use the copy program in PCutils to bring it in to
AmigaDos. Simple and FREE.
Clint,
Does the PCPATCH utility (or whatever it is called) support operations on
df0: or only on df1: + devices? In other words, with the patched pcutils,
would I be able to format a disk to ms-dos/360K format in the internal 3.5"
drive on an A2000?

As I recall, it asks which drive you wish to use, df0: through df3:. As I have
only 0 and 1, the others are ghosted. I have never tried df0:, but I assume it
works. One note: take any disks out of the drive before you click in the gadget
to say which drive you want to use.
If this program isn't posted here, I will upload it.
Thanks, Clint! I yanked myself a copy when it came over usenet a few weeks ago
and think that I've also seen it in the libs over in AmigaTech too so as far as
I know, I think we're cool. Thanks again for the info, twas good!
