#Company wide layoffs
11 messages in this thread
Yesterday, Commodore started company wide layoffs. No reports that I've yet
seen indicate just how many people are affected or reasons behind the action
or hoped for benefits by the action. People affected at Commodore/Amiga in
Los Gatos, CA got their notices yesterday. Among them was Bob Pariseau —
formerly Vice-President Software Development. No further details are yet
available nor analysis of what this will mean for CBM and the Amiga computer
in particular. Watch this forum for more details as they become available.
Jeez.. they layed-off Bob Pariseau!???? now THAT was a mistake!!!

That was the text of the message Bob Pariseau left on , uh, another network.
I don't know where this message came from, it must have spontaneously
generated itself on my disk, and then forced itself up the bit stream,
through the disk heads, and squirted out my modem, once it knew I was on
Compuserve. Sorry to bend the rules, here's and thee's, here and there.
John, we have already read the message earlier, and we are looking into it.

No problem — I didn't have a copy of the text myself — that's why I didn't
put it up.
Steve, Really you didn't. You should check the files every once in a while.
It's amazing what you can find there. dwj.
