#Okimate and Epson
8 messages in this thread
I have an OKIMATE 20 color printer with the centronics plug n print interface.
I would like to know what the correct dip switch setting are if anyone could
help me. Also I have two extra serial plug n print interfaces for commodore
printers that I don't need if anyone is interested. Is anyone out there using
Final Copy II release 2 with an EPSON LQ-570? I am having problems printing
certain documents with it but not everything. I have tried the LQ-860 driver
and the Canon BJ-EC driver set to EPSON 24. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
I just looked at ours, and all 6 switches on the interface are off.

I guess I'm not the only person who still has an Oki 20 (only mine's in a
box)! 🙂

Does it have a working Parallel Plug n Print module?

I have not been able to find a replacement Parallel Plug N Print for my
Okimate 20 color printer. Serial would suck, but it would be better than
nothing.

The extra interfaces are for the 64, 128 and others that use the 6 pin serial
port. If you know how to connect this to the Amiga you can have one.

Oh.
I guess I should just sell this Okimate to someone with a working Plug N
Print to have as a spare printer for their interface module. Bummer.

Would you like a serial Plug N Print to go with it if you sell to a Commodore
64 or 128 owner? I have two extras that I don't know what to do with if I
don't sell them. Of course I know a few people that have 64s, how much do you
want for the printer? (I even have two 64s and a 128 myself!, just laying
around.) Kevin
