Yes Jez!! I was impressed with the speed improvements. You folks who haven't taken control of the AGAV yet for yourself are really missing out. The touch of the controls is awesome, feel yourself zooming down and around a Juno Canon blasting away. Jez, Starglider is and always will be one of my favorite games, there's no other game like it. The 3-D graphics are incredible realistic and game play is superb! I'm sorry, I was obviousely wrong in stating that you had 'farmed' out some of the work (boy, just like asking a girl when the kid is due, and she's NOT pregnant!). Somebody had told me that and I passed it along without caring for accuracy. I did boot the ST vs. and the Amiga vs. at the store today and think I know what disturbes me about the sound effects. And Jez, this is real minor and of course my opinon only, I think the decay on the sound the ST makes when hitting a target gives a lot more impact than the sharp 'thwack' that you here in the Amiga vs.. The digitized explosions when the AGAV is being hit sounds good. The sound the AGAV makes when firing (and missing) and the sounds of the lasers from the little red things (sorry, forgot what the computer interogation said they were), don't impress me. Jez, I love Starglider, own both versions, and can't wait to see what comes next. -John P.S. You didn't do the Ibm vs. did you?

John – No, the IBM version was done by a different team (Realtime Software Ltd) but they are excellent programmers and the IBM PC version is as good as it could have possibly been! — Jez.
