I have the software for the C.Ltd Host Adaptor that runs my Adaptec board (converts SCSI to ST506). It's the latest version produced before C.Ltd went belly up. The software for formatting the drive is pretty buggy, it will crash if it tries to save the Bad Block list. Their stuff was being supported by another company but all they could really do is tell you how to get around the bugs. I think it would be a good idea to remove the HD from the controller and see if you can get a new SCSI controller for it. My C.Ltd controller works perfectly, but I cringe at using the software any time I want to put a new drive on. Mike McCormick

The hardware was always pretty good, but there were a lot of software issues (apparently including who owned it, if I remember right).
