Joel, The end of May is fine! Ah, you said something about " anxious buyers would not regret their purchase…". Are you infering that Word Perfect's name had something to do with lending credibility to their purchase? I think that the big companies from the IBM world lend credibilty to any hardware (unfortunate as it may seem). I got about 100 signatures from my groups. If all 133 people get that many and send them to me, we will definitly push it "over the hill"! Talk it up! Jerry

About 30 are on the way to you from Richmond, VA. Darn near everyone at that particular meeting signed, and they all wished you luck. Rick

Rick, THANKS! I hope that others will follow your lead….That brings the total up to about 130. If some of the others come in soon we could hit the 1000 mark. I'm looking for 5-10000. I hope I am not dreaming….

It might help convince Ashton-Tate if people included their business titles on the petition; then they can be given some indication that the petition is coming from the kind of people who will buy dbaseIII and IV. (I haven't seen the petition; if its already there, ignore this message) andy

Andy, The petition is in DL2 on this forum (I believe as "ashton" or something like that ?). It's a good idea but what I am shooting for is VOLUME VOLUME VOLUME! They need to see LOTS of signatures! That's what will impress them. I want everyone who is in a user group to download the petittion and have it signed by the group and send it to me. Seems like there have been alot of downloads BUT I need them back SOON! If you haven't downloaded it, please do. Take it to your user group and send it to me as soon as possible I think it will work!! Jerry
