Hi Dude. Great, I will have a copy when it is finished. What does this company do?. I found a advert in a amiga mag for a company selling the Expansion port. Called the SXI. The company is called indi (Which I didnt know). But it sells for 139.99 for the SXI and another 45.99 for the keyboard and another 45 – 50 Quid for the external drive. That is a lot of money!!!!!!. I would love to get one but just cant afford that much money. Shame though. Catch Ya!…..Dodger

Hi Dodger, This is indeed a lot of money. I hope it will get cheaper soon. As I read in the UK mag "The One" Commodore has dropped their plans for a CD-ROM drive for the A1200. This sounds unbelievable for me! GTI is an authorized Commodore dealer. They sell software and hardware. I personally visited them two times. However, they are around 50 km away from my home. Juergen, I haven't heard they have dropped plans for the 1200 version of CD32. Though it would not surprise me to find out they did. Here is why: It is my understanding that the CD32 for the A1200 takes the CPU slot in the A1200 providing for a bit of fast ram expanion but nothing else. This means that most 1200 owners would have to toss their accelerators, etc. out if they wanted to use CD32. The second problem and the more likely reason they might drop it has to do with the fact they are having trouble getting FMV to work due to the distance between the CDROM and the actual computer. They may feel that the product will be a loser if they put it out and it did not perform exactly like a CD32. Anyway, those are my thoughts based on what I have heard. -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..

Juergen….. Too right. it is a lot of money. Woah, I am going to have to take a look at that!!!!!!…..Sounds heavy. Yeah I do write them at work. Its the only time I get to do them. I have a crappy 286 at home but dont have a modem……..Why?. Dodger

Hi Dodger, Today I posted the Demo II list — get it. The One, page 16, "Commodore Bore". I read that you only have a CD32. So, I suggested that the only way you use CompuServe is at work. I am working for a software company, what do you do? Juergen
