#Deluxe Paint II

I put Deluxe Paint II on my hard disk. Needless to say, I am a font junkie
with this mass storage device! But I'll be darned – DP II can't seem to
display the names and sizes of all the fonts. Some wierd displays results
when I attempt to pull down the fonts menu. Any comments? Paul
That's a known bug with Deluxe Paint, and about the only suggestion
I can think of is that you split up your fonts into multiple directories,
and then assign fonts: to the directory yout to work with. It's definately
a kludge, but that's all I can think of. (Assuming you don't throw away
Dpaint in disgust.)
Thanks for the info John. I assume that they haven't bothered to fix the
bug. Its a shame that one spends good money on an expensive product from a
large company like EA, and they never ever bother to send info on updates.
They seem to rely on the word of mouth method. Then they usually charge a
hefty price. There is a company called Meridien Software that sells a
product for the Amiga called Zing!. I purchased Zing! when it first came
out a couple years ago. Ever since then, Meridien sends a nice note letting
me know when a new version is available. Then, they make the new version
available for $5 (and that includes the disk). Wish all software companies
were that generous.

it..ARE YOU LISTENING EA?? How about a FIX!? All I can suggest is that
you break up your font directory into several smaller directories. Then
you can assign the directory you want to be the current font dir from the
CLI:
Assign fonts: DirPath
Where DirPath is the full path name of the directory you want to be used as
