#BABYLON 5 media kit

I have no Idea if this is te right sig to ask BUT
I have heard of a 'media kit' about babylon 5 ( the series) from time Warner (
don't suggest looking up their sig) available for MAC and WINDOWS . someone
told me there was also one for the Amiga but I have seen no trace of it . any
clue if there IS such a thing and WHERE ?
ps anyone interested , the MAC one can be found in the MACFF keyword babylon
I've seen the Babylon 5 Media Kit for Windows, and it's pretty well done.
(I love the 'digital trading cards')
Not sure where my girlfriend found it – somewhere here on CIS, but in the
IBM fora.
while I am curious to see it and DO have a 386 I use to run some transistor
substitution program for my business . I am not sure I want to go to the
trouble of installing windows , replacing the VGA mono with the multisync I use
on my 1200 ( i KNOW my priorities 🙂 just to see it .
mind you , despite the trashing reviews B5 got in the local paper , I do like
it a lot . you gotta consider that the reporter saw it as a STAR TREK SPINN OFF
!!
as I said to someone . it's like calling DR QUINN medecine woman a spinn off of
BONANZA since they are both set in the far west .
oh and since your girlfriend has it and uploads are free …………….:)
I'll ask her where the B5 multimedia press kit is, but you'd be best off
with a burlier system if you really want to make it worth your trouble. (I
don't think it's worth going to all the trouble of reinstalling VGA cards,
etc.)

Just talked to my girlfriend – No idea on where or when it came from (She
just got it off the local co. network.) If you can't find it here, get
back in touch and I'll give you what she's got – it may not be the whole
package, though.

Lots of people are having troubles with the PC version of the B-5
multimedia press kit. The company that cobbled it together is taking a
look, now.

The entire ZIP file was about 2MB. The Multimedia player alone is about
750K compressed. If you can't find it up here already, I'll try to see
about uploading it.

There's not one for the Amiga, at least yet. Warner unaccountably did not
make one, but a couple of Amiga users have volunteered to try and Warner
said it's willing to give them access to the raw materiala used in the PC
and Mac versions. Sit tight, maybe it'll appear.
I hope they do make an Amiga one . I just dloaded the Windows version .
heck , I could get better response off my old A1000 then what I got from my 2
MB 386-25 ( BTW , I think the Geneva convention is considering running windows
on a 386-25 cruel and unusual punishment .) still , it looks nice . just sooooo
sloooow , I can't understand hoow PC users can stand it .
I'll keep haunting ( or is it hunting? 🙂 the place until I see one .
