Hi, Anybody know how to make the highlight function of R3 work correctly?? I chose an edge of one of my front poly's on my object and 9 times out of 10, I get my highlight on the opposite side of my mesh,… Hmmm.

Spencer, display/geometry/backface may help, although I'm not sure. Worth a try.

Hmm…In my experience it _does_ work 9 out of 10 times. Ian.

You may try zooming way in on the geometry, Spencer. This might give more precise placement on the geometry in the viewport. I've never had a problem with this command yet. -Alan

Hilite actually works quite well… the problem you're having is that you're selecting a face behind the object. Follow Martin's suggestion and turn backface on so you make sure you're selecting a face in the front. – G

In regard to my Highlight problem,… Thank's to all who spewed knowledge at me! "Backface" does indeed solve the problem! See ya. Spence.
