I want to integrate Autodesk .FLI and .FLC files into my own applications written in 'C' for windows and DOS. Can anyone help me with some 'C' source code to load and play .FLI/.FLC files. or perhaps suggest a book or compiler that would be useful to do this. Or can you suggest someone that could help.

simon, << c-code for fli/flc playing..>> Read the article in Dr. Dobbs, March 93 by Jim Kent. Download flic.zip and flic.asc from the library section #9, what's new. Download, flcspc.zip section #3, vbplay.zip & vbplay.txt from section #21 as well as DLLDOC.zip from section #2. Order the Windows Player Developer Kit-DLL from 1-800-879-4233.

Jonas, PMJI on this thread but I just thought of a wishlist item. How about 3DS prompting you to automatically add a path for an image to the map path list when you get an image – say for the background or similar. Currently you have to cancel out and add it manually. Just a thought.

The very good description of FLI/FLC programming was in Dr.Dobb's Journal March, 1993. Bye PavelK P.S. Sources are downloadable from DDJ forum here on CI$
