A500 ZorroII Expansion
3 messages in this thread
Anyone,
Yes, I know that it is really hard to find decent expansion peripherals
for the A500, but I need help finding some.
I need advice on the best reliable expansion for my A500. I am looking
for devices that accept Zorro II boards so that I can use A2000 cards (don't
worry, I know I can't get a video slot).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Greg,
The most interesting expansion device for the A500 seems to be the one from
Bill's Boards, sold by CompuSave (see ads in most major Amiga magazines). You
will have to do some construction, and will have to have a baby AT case to put
it in, but it will give you several Amiga slots, will accept a Bridgeboard, and
will also give you some IBM slots – more than the 2000 has, I believe. It will
not, however, accept a coprocessor card or a video card.

Betty,
Thanks for the info. Anyone out there have first or second hand
experience with a "Bill's Board" add on? (WHat I'm getting at is "is it
reliable?")
Thanks.
