Hi David, I read your message where you talked about an Autodesk University… does this place really exist ?, here in Montreal, we don't see too much Autodesk activity, in the same way up here, as the States does., anyway thanks for any comments, do you find the poco message area is most used message base in the asoft forum ?, I'm a new user here on Compuserve, so it is important for me to find out where all the action is !! thanks again.. bye for now, Mark Schneider. Montreal, Canada

Mark – Autodesk University is an event rather than a place <g>. It happened first time last year just before CAD Camp and will take place again this year, I think, in conjunction with AEC Expo. If you want to find out more about ADESK U, you should GO ACAD and post a message in Section 7 there. Dave

>> Autodesk University… It was an event in San Francisco this past October. It will be held in Atlanta this year. It features the NAAUG national meeting with many SIG's and offers classes on nearly every Autodesk product. >> do you find the poco message area is most used message base in the >> asoft forum ? I couldn't tell you. It seems that most of the regulars here read ALL the sections. Many threads start under the proper section, but conversation quickly spreads to other topics, sometimes related, but not necessarily. Just look at some of the Subject headers and the content of the attached letter for an example. If you use animator or 3DS regularly, it's probably worth the time to capture all the messages using an off-line reader, and search for key words of interest to you. There's a lot to learn here and it's very easy to get caught up in reading ALL the mail!
