I've uploaded an archive containing eight GIF images, each with thumbnail gray-scale renderings of 540 models from the Syndesis 3D-ROM. Also, I've uploaded the ASCII text version of the submission form for sending us 3D models for the next edition of the Syndesis 3D-ROM. If you'd like to turn your models into a silver platter, here's a free way to do it! Check out 3DROM2.TXT and 3DROMI.ZIP in DL 7 as soon as they're merged…

John, Thanks for uploading the thumbnails of the 3D-ROM models. They will join the thumbnails for the textures on my PAR – perfect for quick reference. Make sure you include this type of thing on the next 3D-ROM. BTW, what is the timing on the release of the next 3D-ROM? Rick – On Autopilot from Vancouver

Yes, I wish we had all the thumbnails for the models on the first edition of the disc. We may re-press the first disc and we will include the thumbnails, maybe even the renderings. We did these renderins ourselves, which took several months beyond the release of the disc! Tht's why the submission letter now asks for the artist to supply a simple rendering. We hope to have the next disc before summer.

oooops, I guess It'll take a bit longer for me to send you my models then John since I'll have to pour thru my images looking for examples of the models rendered.

You may need to re-render. We want them on white backgrounds for the catalogs…
