4 messages in this thread
I'm looking to sell my A500 system. Includes 1 meg RAM, Magnavog
stereo monitor, extra floppy drive, 2 joysticks. Lots of software,
mostly games, including:
Space Quest III
NASCAR Challenge
Flight Of The Intruder
Fighter Duel
Monday Night Football
Hole In One Miniature Golf
4th and Inches
Battle Chess
Falcon
Leisure Suit Larry
Knights Of The Sky
The Perfect General
Birds Of Prey
Flight Simulator II
F-16 Combat Pilot
Jack Nicklaus Unlimited Golf
Populous
Space Quest I Enhanced
Street Sports Basketball
Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego
Armour-Geddon
Robosport
Pirates
Lemmings
About 40 other programs. All listed above are with original
documentation, most but not all of the rest have docs. System works
great. Asking $350 or best offer for all. Will split shipping costs.
if interested leave e-mail to 76711,30. Thanks,
I have an A500 myself – I would be interested in picking up some of
the software, though. What would you part with for $50 or $60?

PS – how do you post a "for sale" message, anyway? I pick the "wirte
message" icon, scroll down to "Classified", then write my message.
the SEND bar remains ghosted, though. What is the secret? PPS – Is
your 1 meg on the board, in a Fatter Agnes, or in the Trap Door of
your 500?
Stephen, the 1 meg is on a board in the trap door. I don't know why you are
unable to post a for sale message. I just use my terminal program, and come
online to write whatever it is I need to send. Since I'm not using any of the
automated programs, and I write the message in real time I'm afraid I can't
assist with that. I'm waiting a few more days to see if any responses show from
anyone about buying the entire system. If I haven't gotten anything by then I
can part with some software.
Randy
Thanks Randy. I have the clock/memory thing in my machine as well. I was
considering buying a RAM expansion card for my dataflyer hard drive to I could
do some more fancy things with my machine.
Anyway, let me know if you sell your machine. I am still interested in the
programs.
