For Sale, Commodore A2630 25mhz Accelerator Card and A2091 SCSI with
v6.6 roms (no harddrive), used for 4 months, excellent shape. Both
for $200 including shipping. Respond with Cmail.
greetings… I am not quite in the A2000 market.. but do you work for the USAF?
I do at McClellan.
How much RAM on the 2630?
A2630…is that C='s 68030 accelerator? If so, can you tell me more
about it…such as is it 68EC030? does it have math coprocessor
(68882)? does it include any 32-bit RAM? does it require a
daughterboard to add 32-bit RAM?
I am definitely interested in this!!! I am still using 68000 A2000
and *NEED* a turbo boost.
Oh yeah, I don't necessarily need the A2091 (unless it has an ST506
interface like the older A2090) but would probably take it if it
meant getting the A2630.
I've got a 2630 laying around, don't know about the CPU other than
it's an 030, but it does have a 68882 math coproc…. Also, I'm not
entirely sure whether it works on a 2000. Anyone? I pulled mine out
of my 2500 when I got my 040 G-Force.
Jim,
If I'm not mistaken, a 2500 was just a 2000 with the 2630 inside. Same
machine, just hopped up (kinda like puttin' a Holley and cam in an old
289…sucker really jumped then!).
Later,
Duane.
Duane,
The Amiga 2500 came with either an A2620 or A2630, an A2091 with
100-Meg hard drive, and 4 Megs of RAM.
You're right. You could just add these items to an A2000 and have the
same thing.

Well, mostly right. Before the 2630 was available, the 2500 was an A2000 with
a 2620 installed.
Jim –
So are you saying you'd like to sell that 2630 which you have "laying
around"? If so, how much?

I have a GVP G-Force '030 with 4MB Ram and a SCSI controller built-in.
Had it almost 2 years. Not one problem reported. C-Mail if
interested.
Are you interested in separating the 2630 from the 2091? I already
have (2) 2091's, probably don't need another one – I DO need some
more horsepower (7.16 MHz 68000 just don't cut it anymore…even
though it still outperforms my 33 MHz 486 Compaq at work in some
graphics operations…). Let me know.
Sorry Duane, both the A2630 and A2091 sold already. With response, wish I
had more to sell!
