I have 3ds4 on a p-90 and an Indigo Extreme2 running Alias connected via
ethernet.
The way i do it is very anoying. On the SGI i convert the single frames to pc
tiffs
then i copy them over to the pc. There i wrote a qbasic exe to convert my
frames
from anim.000 > anim000.tif. Then i use Autodesk Animator ,"load pics as flic"
this converts all the tiffs into an animation.
Pain in the A _ _ !!

This is even worse than I thought! It's doable though- I wonder if there are
any conversion utilities or scripts that do approximately the work of your
little program out there?
