#PAR HELP#2

I am stuck, I just installed my PAR and dedicated drive, everything seems to
boot up O.K. except that when I go to run PAR from dos I get a message saying
'general error'. I installed the PAR software that came in the box VER 1.09 I
also downloaded version 134B from the DPS BBS. I am not sure what I am doing
wrong, I can access the PAR drive from dos but that is about it.

I'm not in front of my PAR (It's Saturday, as you know), so I may be of
marginal help today.
As a general rule. I try to minimize conflicts when installing new equipment.
That means checking for I/O and IRQ conflicts. I suspect you have such a
conflict.
In any case, if you still are having problems, give me a call on my pager

Don't forget to format the PAR drive with the -format command. There are some
switches to be set, but I can't remember so maybe someone else will jump in.
Sorry for being so basic if you've already done this.
