Was I imagining it or did I see a file in the library that had NTSC color bars for the DPS PAR? If anyone (else) has seen it could you please direct me to where it is? Thanks Ed Slonaker @ EMIC Corpus Christi, TX

Hi Ed, << Was I imagining it or did I see a file in the library that had NTSC color bars for the DPS PAR? >> I searched the library with the Keyword "BARS" and another seach with the Keyword "NTSC". Both displayed files but none mentioned the PAR specifically. Have you reviewed these? jonas[adesk]

>>>Was I imagining it or did I see a file in the library that had NTSC color bars for the DPS PAR? If anyone (else) has seen it could you please direct me to where it is?<<< I have a bunch of test pattern .stl files that came from the DPS BBS.

I put the NTSC color bars up there twice. The TGA file is for the targa+ at 512×486 and the other file is the one you should get because you can render it yourself to any resolution. Its a 3DS file. If you have the PAR you won't need either as you stated it comes with the patterns as STL files.

Ed, <NTSC color bars for DPS PAR> The software ships with a subdirectory of testpatterns that you unzip and just transfer to a project (subdirectory) on your PAR HD. There is a terrific array of professional patterns and I have a suggestion. I renamed the SMPTE Bars file to 1SMPTE so that it would appear at the top of the test pattern. That way, whenever I launch the PAR, SMPTE bars are displayed on my #1video mon. Many of us have tested the bar output signal and are pleased.
