Hi Guy! David Shannon probably is hanging out around Tucson right now, but normally he can be found at: David Shannon 6649 E. Rustic Dr. Mesa, AZ 85215 602-985-0557 He is selling the Russian Geiger-Muller counters with LCD displays for $37.50, which is great even if the instruction manual is in Russian. David provides a rough translation of the basics from the documentation. Shannon also charges a few dollars for shipping and handling, but I don't know how much. I have a radiation monitor that I built from a Heathkit kit some years ago. It's quite beat up now–the beeper and LED don't work any more, but it has a good analog display. I also use aware software with my laptop, which is very sensitive but doesn't respond quickly. (It turns the cpu into a counting unit, which cpus do very well.) Nathan
